Because of the guidelines for reopening Indiana, we cannot invite non-members to participate in this year’s clean up weekend. Thanks to all of you who expressed an interest in helping!
Clean-Up Weekend To Do List
Due to Covid-19 concerns, breakfast, donuts and coffee will NOT be provided. Please do not bring anything to share. Practice social distancing during this cooperative effort.
Orders for a fast food lunch will be taken around 11 and paid for by the Grounds committee.
This list is published here for those members who are not on the private club Facebook Group.
If you're new and not sure about how to best help, show up at the clubhouse porch with work gloves ready to be assigned to where you're needed. If you plan to take care of a task that isn't listed, call Roland. The point being to communicate your intentions and plans, where to meet and when, avoid overlap, etc! Thanks everyone! 1) Recycle metal (collect it from both gates and drive it to the recycler for cash)
2) Put rafts in lake.
3) Uncover and place RV area fire-pits.
4) Finish clubhouse handicapped ramp-See Roland.
5) Turn on water to Southside shower house.
6) Rake/clean/weed the flowerbeds-See Liz.
7) Clean out ice cream freezer and soda pop fridge.
8) Clean out the gutters on clubhouse and barn.
9) Start solar shower on sun deck.
10) Rake beach, pull weeds .
11) Store cinderblocks in volleyball court behind the barn.
12) Set picnic tables in place.
13) Install gutters on hot tub room-See John
14) Power wash concrete along fence of pool deck.
15) Power wash new decking and wall of hot tub room. (Algae in dark/shaded areas.)
16) Power wash decking around hot tub.
17) Power wash lounge chairs and tables.
18) Repair main sliding door to hot tub room. (Drags on floor.)
19) Take down 3 trees along road across from Peiffer's- See Bill P. or Roland
20) East Pier - (crew welcome - See Cathy/Ken)
21) Hiking Trails maintenance (need shovels, loppers)
There will also be a list specific to the South side of the lake, which will be posted here asap.
