founded in 1933, Lake O' the Woods Club has long been well-known among folks and friends from the world-wide nudist community as a jewel and a joy to visit.
We are a 100% AANR-affiliated, family-oriented cooperative nudist club located in the city of Valparaiso in Northwest Indiana; about 55 miles SouthEast of Chicago, and a stone’s throw from Valparaiso University.
Ours is one of the two oldest continually operating nudist clubs in the U.S.A; In 2023 we celebrated 90 continuous years as a nudist club. Our setting is 130 acres of hilly forested terrain surrounding the stunning 20-acre creek- and spring-fed Sager’s Lake.
Our amenities include a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, newly renovated sauna, outdoor solar showers, volleyball, pickleball, tennis courts, two sandy beaches, quiet sun decks, fishing docks, and two floating docks. exquisitely unspoiled Sager’s Lake entices swimmers, sailors, fishers, and birdwatchers, while the woods offers quiet serenity among the flora and fauna, as well as workouts for hikers and runners on the Circle Trail, a 1.4 mile wooded trail circumnavigating the lake. yes, you may run nude. Plus, we have social activities on weekends for all ages.

We enjoy sharing our Lake O’ The Woods with fellow nudists from afar and a-near, and making new friends. This year we met a record number of folks who had never been socially nude before but had always wanted to try it.
We open Friday May 16, 2025 at 9am.
